Our Refund Rules
When you book a tour with us, we start locking in hotels, guides, and more, so cancellations affect our small biz. Here’s the breakdown:
60+ Days Before Departure: Cancel 60 days or more before your tour starts, and you’ll get a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee to cover our admin costs.
30-59 Days Before Departure: Cancel within this window, and you’ll get 50% of your payment back. We’ve already booked a bunch of stuff, so this helps us cover those costs.
Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: Sorry, no refunds within 30 days of the tour start date. Too many pieces are in place, like non-refunded hotel deposits.
How to Cancel
To cancel, just shoot us an email at [email protected] or call +1 207-874-2573. Let us know your name, tour name, and departure date. We’ll confirm your cancellation in writing and process any refund within 14 business days.
Trip Cancellations by Us
If we have to cancel a tour (super rare, like if a destination becomes unsafe), you’ll get a full refund, no questions asked. We’ll also offer to reschedule you on another tour if that works better.
Travel Insurance
We strongly reccomend grabbing travel insurance. It can cover you for unexpected stuff like illness or family emergencies that our policy might not. We can point you to some good providers if you need help.
Changes to Bookings
Want to switch to a different tour or date? If it’s 60+ days out and the new tour has space, we’ll do our best to make it happen for a $50 change fee. Closer to the date, it depends on availability—give us a call!
